Printed Circuit Boards are not burned or incinerated , but we rather use an electro-mechanical process developed by, and unique to Desco whereby everything is ground and separated, together with state of the art dust extractors used to recover the precious and non-ferrous metals.

Dismantling of E-waste is done manually therefore material output is not cross contaminated giving us a output of clean material. (see our process)

We believe that the greatest contribution we can make is to protect the environment, by recycling material that is headed for the landfill, in a manner that does not create even larger environmental problems, and thereby play a part in the conservation of our planet.

Desco Electronic Recyclers commits to engender a standard of excellence by providing a high quality service for the disposal of electronic wastes, and ensuring that this service is always conducted in an environmentally affable manner; and that the processes involved during the disposal would at all times conform to and comply with all relevant legislations as enforced by the respectable authorities. Desco Electronic Recyclers realizes and is dedicated to the responsibility of being a good steward of the environment, and will in all circumstances aspire to constantly emphasize awareness of the natural environment, whilst maintaining a level of proficiency which demonstrates bona fide leadership in all spheres of the environment.

Desco will demonstrate its commitment to this policy through:

• Regulatory Compliance: Compliance and enforcement of all regulatory requirements
• Prevention of Pollution: Identification and prevention or minimization of any pollutants in all areas, attributable to processes conducted by Desco
• Continual Improvement: Continuous improvements with regard to the company’s overall environmental performance and the methods utilized in its process of disposal; by using the current policy as a basis upon which to build, and focus future objectives and targets

This policy will be conveyed to all our consultants and contractors, and made available to all regulatory agencies, the public, or other interested parties upon request.

Note: This policy has been accepted and adopted by the respectable board of directors, who have signed and authorized its posting and implementation; in and around the Desco facility.
